Geteye has been an active beatmaker since the early 2000s. His diverse influences reflect his love for melodic sampling. His music is characterized by a particular treatment of grain and realistic drum work, creating a unique and captivating sound universe. The « KID » album is the culmination of a long-awaited physical project with the Dooinit music label. Inspired by his recent fatherhood, Geteye explores an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, funk and Brazilian music to create a unique vibe. The project features some heavy collaborations with artists such as ETO and Guilty Simpson, but it’s the track « Deep Fake » with French rapper Mr JL that particularly appeals to Geteye. This collaboration is the realization of an artistic dream and his guest enhances the instrumental. In short, « KID » offers a personal and creative musical experience, capturing the authenticity and innocence of childhood.
